what i wrote in reply to my cousin's FB status

"No, girls' hearts are not fun to break.

Guys who choose to play with the girls who love them, deserved to be shot repeatedly.

But in every relationship, you will learn something, be it a trait (of the guy) that you dun like (then you , or learning how to communicate better.
Over time you will discover what you really want in a partner, but unfortunately, you may have to get burnt a few times, that's life.

listen to what your heart tells you, love is a wonderful thing, never be afraid to love another whole-heartedly.

If the jerk breaks your heart, no point hiding in your room for the next few weeks and mope around,
yes i know it's hard, but calm down, look at things for what they are, was the guy nice to you? why did he become like that?
was he jus playing with you?
he has lost you as a friend, that's his loss, karma will catch up with childish scoundrels like him.

but ultimately, remember the good times that you had together,
the past determines who we are today, if you choose to mope around and be sad, that's your own decision, isn't it.

to end off, i have to admit that,
guys are sadly, very visual creatures and more often than not, we only chase skirts and do not bother to look at a girl's character, especially when we are younger.

having said that, boys will not remain boys forever,
there are nice guys out there, and if you believe in true love, there will be this guy who accepts everything in you, and will be beside you till the very end. ^_^"
